"In Full Bloom"

Digital Photography & Art classes at

Elmcor Senior Center (East Elmhurst, Qns)

and

Allen A.M.E. Neighborhood Senior Center (St. Albans, Qns)

With the support of NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and NYC Councilmembers Francisco Moya and I. Daneek Miller we brought SU-CASA programming to seniors in the Elmhurst/Corona/Jackson Heights/St. Albans/Jamaica area Spring 2019.  Each week pARTicipants engaged in digital photography and (non-toxic) acrylic painting instruction. From day one our "students" put their creative muscles to good work, producing amazing works of arts, and learning how to capture the amazing people and world around them.  Art is ageless! (Video of Allen Senior Center’s Community Art Expo below).

The Pupil Project

2018-19 School Year

This past school year we continued giving children grades 3-12 the opportunity to see their world through a captive lens.  So much so, our AFTER-SCHOOL became IN-SCHOOL Curriculum (1st period!) in Queens middle school PS200Q The Magnet School for Global Studies and Leadership.

Elsewhere in NYC, we're always taking shots and making movies! The Pupil Project 2.0 remains in full STEAM, building cameras and using them to capture moments and movements in our communities.
