Little World - The Global Literacy Project

Little World - The Global Literacy Project helps schools with access to technology investigate new and innovative ways to engage students in this new digital world.   Textbooks no longer create a limit to learning.   We introduce students to real people who are beyond their neighborhood borders, leading them to understand the real world and preparing them to think critically of themselves as global citizens.  We digitally connect to global volunteers, discover the regions they work in, the goals of their service, the culture, language, and social issues plaguing the region in which they work.

Little World -The Global Literacy Project creates a platform that bridges the gap between “inner-city students” and "global influencers".   By combining the very basics of journalism (reading, writing, interview and research techniques) with technology and unassuming curiosities - we make what seems like a vast world much smaller and easier to digitally traverse and explore.

The bonus becomes the insight volunteers provide on community service,  potential careers, travel experiences, college-readiness, as well as studying or living abroad.

THE ART IN ...

"IN IT WITH ALL OUR ART"

"IN IT WITH ALL OUR ART"

The Art In... Community Art Workshop is Arts Education outside the classroom. We use art-infused monthly workshops to engage the public, and enhance a participant's inherent artistic ability.  Our workshops also promote community service and cultural awareness through themed events and/or community partnerships.  We seek to create visual art that is simple, fun,  effectively relays a message, and/or give participants first hand knowledge about a specific cause with information about a society it affects.  It's the art in re-crafting our experiences.

If you are interested in attending a workshop, teaching a workshop, hosting a workshop, or having one of our workshops incorporated into your event,  please click the photo below and contact us for more information.

Partners In Art covets relationships that provide a public purpose. By joining forces with neighborhood institutions, community organizations, and established corporate entities, we can resource progressive ways to use art and technology to serve a greater good.

A viable partnership allows participants to see the possibilities of their alternative selves. They can observe firsthand the magic that crafting and creating behold(s), whether in the form of therapy, as a professional artist, an art-related entrepreneur, or in the general scope of artistic skills used in a myriad of industries.  Without the chance to glimpse what the "possible" can be, it risks remaining "impossible".  Our partnerships provide perspective.
